All About APRS
The Automatic Packet Reporting System (APRS) packet protocol was created by Bob Bruninga, WB4APR in the mid 1980's. APRS is a connectionless protocol vs. a regular packet session where a station connected to another either directly or via other stations. There is so much information on the 'net regarding APRS it is redundant to recreate it here. I have compiled a list of links below that I think will be helpful in finding out more about APRS. Click here for information about my APRS station(s).
